Gin Murray is a multidisciplinary artist based out of Southwestern Ontario. She works primarily in sculpture, video, performance, and installation. She is fascinated by what can be revealed by difference while addressing ideals of equivalency. She regards her practice as an opportunity to defy personal inhibitions and is often inspired by improvisational dancing.

Gin received a BA in Studio Art and Geography in 2009 from the University of Guelph. She has exhibited in several group and solo shows, notably, at Ed Video Media Arts Centre in Guelph, The Artery Gallery in Waterloo, Board of Directors in Toronto, and Anna Leonowens Gallery in Halifax.
